The Virginia Community College System Has 23 Colleges and 40 Campuses

• There is a community college located within 45 minutes of every Virginian
• The Fab Lab at Northern Virginia Community College Manassas Campus was developed as part of the Micron project. It provides support to NOVA’s Engineering Technology degree and hands-on STEM opportunities for college students, staff, and community members
• Reynolds Community College offers an A.S. in Engineering degree for students wishing to transfer to a four-year college or university with Reynolds allowing students to select an Electrical/Computer Engineering specialization
• Eight community colleges in Virginia offer mechatronics curriculum with two (Paul D. Camp and Central Virginia) offering an A.A.S in mechatronics
