Virginia Community College System has 23 colleges and 40 campuses – a community college within a 45-minute drive of every Virginian

Eight community colleges in Virginia offer mechatronics curriculum with two (Paul D. Camp and Central Virginia) offering an A.A.S in mechatronics. Reynolds Community College offers an A.S. in Engineering degree for students wishing to transfer to a four-year college or university with Reynolds allowing students to select an Electrical/Computer Engineering specialization. The Fab Lab at Northern Virginia Community College Manassas Campus was developed as part of the Micron project. It provides support to NOVA’s Engineering Technology degree and hands-on STEM opportunities for college students, staff, and community members.
