Virginia Community College System has 23 colleges and 40 campuses

There is a community college located within a 45-minute drive of every Virginian.

The Fab Lab at Northern Virginia Community College Manassas Campus was developed as part of the Micron project. It provides support to NOVA’s Engineering Technology degree and hands-on STEM opportunities for college students, staff, and community members.
Reynolds Community College offers an A.S. in Engineering degree for students wishing to transfer to a four-year college or university with Reynolds allowing students to select an Electrical/Computer Engineering specialization.
Eight community colleges in Virginia offer mechatronics curriculum with two (Paul D. Camp and Central Virginia) offering an A.A.S in mechatronics.
